| This past weekend, one of my flickr friends. little m:), came down
from the Pacific Northwest to attend an Aperture
Academy workshop I was helping with in the beautiful San Francisco
Bay. The plan was to shoot, shoot, shoot, and then shoot some more.
There was also a plan to get beers and fish 'n' chips in Pacifica
where m was staying and visiting former flickrite, Amber. Brian Rueb
was also meeting up with us to get some pre-workshop shooting in,
but mainly, he was there for the beer and fish 'n' chips.
The sky looked promising in Santa Cruz. It looked gloomy, but
with beams of light dancing on the ocean in Davenport. By the time
we hit Pescadero, the light was gone and instead, we had thick
blankets of gray with drizzling rain.
Finally arriving in Pacifica, there was no hope for a sunset,
just a gradual transition from lighter to darker shades of gray.
Big swells were hitting the coast, and I got soaked within minutes
of our arrival. Story of my life, but it's all part of the game.
I will post my Pacifica Pier shot in a day or so, but I wanted
to post this shot to show Brian what he missed Sunday morning after
the workshop. He's heading out of town for some more photography,
and I simply wanted to make him jealous for driving home Saturday
night.
