Backyard Macro - July 27, 2008

| My ear has been bothering me and has really put a damper on my plans to "dive, dive, dive" this summer. I really didn't feel like lugging a lot of camera gear for a hike, so my girlfriend mentioned some backyard macro. I was keen after reading about stacking a teleconverter for added close-up capabilities. You see, I have already played around with a lens reversed, just never a lens reversed with a 2x teleconverter stacked in between. The shots in this three image slideshow go backwards in magnification to take the viewer immediately into the abstract and then zoom out to see the subject more completely. |
