Whale Watching - April 27, 2008

| Another trip out on the Sanctuary for another chance at seeing some killer whales and humpbacks. Although we had to venture 13 miles out (and mostly to the north), we were able to get some nice orca activity after some humpback whale action to the south. The last shot is an attempt at some motion blur that turned out nicely. I had one decent orca breach that is six frames. I animated it into a .gif file that can be viewed here. It is 1.29MB, so may take a moment to fully "animate". |
