| It's been about seven months since my last sea otter (Enhydra
lutris) shoot. Today I finally got a chance to use my new
500mm lens with a self-modified 1.4 teleconverter. I picked up a
Wimberley Sidekick (great product!) and was rewarded with an adorable
baby otter and mom. The little fuzzball was asleep most of the time,
but that's what's nice about land photography...you have a heck of
a lot more time than you do SCUBA diving. My patience paid off (I
think) with some nice shots. It was only my hunger for lunch that
tore me away from the "cute" factor of the day. |
