Mammal Mania at Moss Landing - May 9, 2007

| I purchased a gift certificate for two for a whale watching trip
back in 2005. Suffice to say, I still have not used it. So sad. Well,
the weather had been great, the ocean calm and blue, so I booked a
trip on the Sanctuary out of Moss Landing for today. Fog, dense and
thick, limited the trip's charm, but there were still some shots to
be had...with the best ones coming after the trip of some
happy sea otters (Enhydra lutris). The images in this slideshow are
chronological, with the last two taken
near the
entrance to Moss Landing harbor. |
