| June 15, 2007 I will be selling cards and prints at the upcoming Capitola Art at the Beach on both Sunday, June 24 and Sunday , July 8. This is a small show right on the beach at the Capitola EspIanade. Come out and enjoy the summer beach weather. I will also be showing at the Santa Cruz Art on the Wharf on Sunday, July 15. And you guessed it, is is being held on the Santa Cruz Municipal Wharf, so please come out and say hello. | |
| May 27, 2007 Beach Photo Competition Update: I received 1st place in the humorous category and three honorable mentions in each of the three main categories: Macro, Wide Angle, and Portrait. My prize was a free annual housing service valued at $375. Not bad for a day of diving. | |

| April 26. 2007 I have been hard at work building the site, new look, new "Surface Interval" section, updating the "Dive Log" and so on. The last couple of days have seen the addition of the new "Stock" section to showcase many of my images. Up next, the "Galleries" section will get an overhaul. Whew! | |
| January 4, 2007 In three days, on the 7th from 2-5pm, Jim Patterson Photography will be having an opening reception at Lift Fitness in Mountain View. Beverages and snacks will be provided and I hope any and all can attend, even if for just a quick "hello". New images from Florida and French Polynesia will be on display including manatess, schooling fish, rays and a silvertip shark. 12/6/05 Well, if you haven't noticed the change in look and layout of my website, I think I will have to cry. I have been spending countless hours getting the site looking fresh and new. New image look, new cart system (still underway,but almost done). And something I have always wanted...a slideshow feature. Every location and the black and white gallery officially have flash driven slideshows. One of the best $12 investments yet. Look for more info on the product page as well as new dive log entries in the near future. Happy Holidays! |

| 3/10/06 I think if I spend any more time on my website, my girlfriend is going to leave me...well, maybe it isn't that bad, but then again. I added a free search engine to my site recently, hopefully someone will put it to use other than me testing it every other day. I added some Flash galleries to my scientific section, and I have taken the opportunity to dig into the archives of my photos for species to add. Check them out and tell me what you think. | 1/19/05 Well, four days later and the new site is starting to come along just fine. Image galleries are up for each category and more gallery pages are on the way. With the new classification by scientific category, I am digging through the archives to find more pictures for those areas lacking images and I now have new goals to attain with my photography. More variety! |

| 08/16/04 The website is undergoing, and has been for a month now, an overhaul. Viewing individual pictures will include a genus/species where known and the images are viewable as somewhat of a slideshow. Just click the forward or back arrows before or after the image number. Enjoy!. | 09/21/03 Paradise Interior Design has just opened a gallery in the Rancho Del Mar shopping center in Aptos, CA. Jim Patterson Photography gets it's first showing with 12 framed pieces. Filled with many handmade and custom wood, stone, and glass work, the studio is sure to be a hit. Check it out if you can. |
