Feeling energized from my dive trip to Alaska, I took the opportunity to dive aboard the Beach Hopper using my last gift voucher (I treated myself to 6 trips last year in the form of gift vouchers). We saw whales and dolphins along the way to a spot I've never dove before, Local's Ledge. Kind of fitting to come back home and dive "Local's Ledge". It is located off Cypress Point, one of the more 'undove' spots in Carmel, genereally due to conditions being too rough. Cypress Point is a wild place, and we had some mild current today making the descent and ascent interesting with healthy moon and comb jellies flying by. My focus was macro after having such fun with shooting the small things in Alaska. The final shot, a Flabellina trilineata, is my favorite and will be a keeper for some time.
