Whaler's Cove 01.23.06

Eric Down and I did our 'annual' dive together, and although Eric's first attempt at a Lobos boat launch was unsuccessful, we still managed to get two dives in the old fashioned way...from shore. Visibility was 30-40' and there were quite a few highlights including many cooperative lingcod and a nest-sitting cabezon (look for the eggs), a batray, a nice dense school of blues, several visits from a diving cormorant, sea lions, harbor seals, and a monster sea hare. Very nice indeed.
