Bluefish Cove 07.28.04

It's been awhile since my last dive log entry. I'll see if I can't keep it more up to date. I recently got a new macro lens, the Nikon 105mm f2.8 micro nikkor. Although I didn't have it set exactly right, I still managed to get some keepers from my most recent kayak dive at Point Lobos. Whelan was entertaining his cousin and cousin's girlfriend, and Moira and I got to dive for the first time since December. The ocean was flat, whale spouts were blowing and we dove the great pinnacle in Bluefish. And great it was! The top is at roughly 35' and the bottom on the seaward side drops to 160'. Visibility was at least 40' and the color was phenomenal. One for the memory banks.
