Moira and I set out to Lobos Rocks, approximately
4.5 miles south of Point Lobos State Reserve. The forecast called for
calm seas and the visibility was reported at 60' + just the day before.
I decided it was time to try Lobos Rocks, a site seldom dived, even by
commercial charters. We were in luck as the ocean did in fact look calm
enough to do the dive. Down the trail we went.
