Lobos Rocks 11.24.03

Moira and I set out to Lobos Rocks, approximately 4.5 miles south of Point Lobos State Reserve. The forecast called for calm seas and the visibility was reported at 60' + just the day before. I decided it was time to try Lobos Rocks, a site seldom dived, even by commercial charters. We were in luck as the ocean did in fact look calm enough to do the dive. Down the trail we went.

I decided to go for it and I took my digital camera out on the kayak in a dry bag, crossing my fingers the entire time. It's not everyday you take $2000 of electronics on a small kayak that will die if it gets wet. Needless to say, it survived. All the topside pictures were taken with my Nikon D100.
